ARCHIVED: How do I apply for an account on IU's research systems?
Researchers at any Indiana University campus may apply for a Big Red, Libra, Quarry, or Research Database Complex (RDC) account.
Note: UITS will retire Libra in spring 2009. Accounts are available on Quarry, a general-purpose Unix computing environment. For more, see ARCHIVED: About the Libra retirement.
To apply for an account, visit the Account Management Service (AMS) at:
https://itaccounts.iu.edu/On the AMS web page:
- Select
Manage my IU computing accounts.
- If you are prompted to log into the Central Authentication
Service, enter your Network ID. If not, skip to the
next step.
- Click
create more accounts.
- Use the radio buttons to select the account you want to create, and
click
Create Account.
