Indiana University's Advanced Visualization Lab (AVL) provides new opportunities to achieve excellence in research, education, and creative activities. As a part of a rich environment of distributed visual computing, IU's facilities include some of the world's most advanced virtual reality and visualization technologies, including new high-end facilities in the Fall of 2004 to complement a range of mid-range technologies deployed in the Spring of 2002.
